From 21st October to 28th October, activists across Europe took action on their high streets and in their shopping centres to call on clothing brands and governments to ensure workers are paid a living wage. Activists across Europe took action in solidarity with workers across garment producing countries to demand a living wage becomes a reality.
Living Wage Action Week

Danish Campaigners in Copenhagen

The campaign launch comes exactly six months after the devastating collapse of Rana Plaza, in which 1,133 Bangladeshi workers were killed. Six months on from the largest industrial accident to hit the garment industry still millions of workers have no choice but to risk their lives in order to afford a decent life.
